After much encouragement from clients and friends alike, I thought I would give a bit of a painting lesson on my first blog. As some of you know, I paint all of our houses when we renovate or build and through my experience, I've come up with some helpful hints and tips. First of all, the most expensive paint is not always the best! I like Behr from Home Depot. Good coverage and cleans well. Good tools are so important like brushes with angles bristles. The best ones are cheap at Cloverdale paint. About $5.00! For sure my secret is the 'sure-line' edger! Makes any painter look like a pro! Yes they also work on textured ceiling. Not too much paint on them and a bit of preasure and you have perfect cut in lines! If you have to paint your ceilings first I recomend painting down the wall with the paint about an inch or so before you do your walls. Makes for a cleaner line. If you do make a boo-boo and hit the ceiling with your brush, DON'T WIPE! Wait till it dries and scape it off with a butter knife! Lastly, make sure your are uninterupted! The only thing that should be going on is listening to some good tunes! Happy painting.......

When a property goes into forclosure in B.C., the Supreme Court of B.C has given the lender who is forclosing the sole right to sell the property to recover the money that is owed to them. When the lender accepts an offer that they feel represents fair market value, they must go back to the Courts to get the sale approved. There are also special conditions that apply . Here is a ... Inventory is low and young families love the 10,000 sq.ft. + lots in the Brookswood area of Langley so prices are rising. Many are removing the wall in the kitchen/livingroom area and creating a modern open floorplan.
